Savage UTV came to life in 2018 after the owner and creator of our Savage Cases, Matt, was racing in the Score Baja 250 in San Felipe Mexico. Matt blew through multiple drive belts during that race and ultimately was not able to finish. Naturally, he returned to the States reflecting on how he could make improvements to his race vehicle. That led him to realize that the way the belts were being stored on the car was actually causing them to be damaged. Storing your drive belt where they are exposed to the sun, moisture, dirt, and debris compromises the rubber compound and increases friction and heat on the CVT system.
And so... Savage UTV Cases were born.
Savage has since evolved to not only continue offering off road products, but we've grow a presence creating products for Starlink Dishes and equipment. Matt retired from the San Diego Fire Department in 2024 where he was a bomb tech, drone operator, and fabricator on top of being an Engineer. He also has years of racing with some of the top names in the off road industry. So designing products for first responders, off roaders, racers and recreational use is something that comes naturally to us here at Savage UTV.
